BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

By confirming the booking of the Artiste (“the Artist”), the Hirer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. This agreement confirms a verbal or written booking. A signature is not required for this agreement to be binding.

  1. Booking Confirmation

This contract confirms the engagement between the Artist and the Hirer. Once agreed, the booking is binding on both parties.

  2. Fee

The agreed fee (plus VAT if applicable) shall be payable in accordance with the agreed payment terms stated in the booking confirmation.

  3. Deposit

A non-refundable deposit (minimum 25% unless otherwise agreed) is required to secure the booking. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  4. Cancellation by the Hirer

If the Hirer cancels the engagement for reasons within their control, the following cancellation fees apply:

• More than 8 weeks before the event: 25% of the agreed fee (deposit retained)

• Between 4–8 weeks before the event: 75% of the agreed fee

• Less than 4 weeks before the event: 100% of the agreed fee

Cancellation fees represent a genuine pre-estimate of loss.

  1. Cancellation by the Artist

In the unlikely event the Artist must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, any monies paid will be refunded in full. Where possible, a suitable replacement act may be offered, subject to Hirer approval.

  2. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, government restrictions, or venue closure.

  3. Venue Requirements

    The Hirer must provide:

• Safe and suitable electrical outlets

• A small table for PA equipment (if required)

• Safe and convenient parking

• A private dressing room or secure changing area

• Bottled water and soft drinks

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Artist and all equipment at the venue.

  1. Technical Requirements

The Artist’s equipment is not available for use by any third party without prior written consent.

  2. Recordings

No audio, video, or live streaming of the performance is permitted without prior written consent from the Artist.

  3. Variation

This agreement may only be amended or cancelled by mutual written agreement of both parties.

Any attached technical or hospitality rider forms part of this agreement.

  5. Safe Working Environment
